Obituary for Nellie Irene Bregar Nellie Irene Bregar, age 93, of Bussey, IA died on March 8, 2016 at the Knoxville Hospital. She was born in Hamilton, Iowa on June 26, 1922 to Alfred and Maude (Lowe) Green.She graduated from Hamilton High School. She worked at Pella Manufacturing for over twenty-five years until retirement. She married Albert Bregar. They were blessed with six children. Albert died on August 28, 1994. Nellie was an American Legion Auxiliary of Bussey, and Farm Bureau Auxiliary of Knoxville member. She like her shoes, and was also a collector. She collected Coffee mugs, Avon bottles, cast iron banks, Denim Days, and even beer cans. Nellie is survived by her children, Patricia Maureen Kendall of Bussey, Albert Lee Bregar of Bussey, Richard Leroy Bregar of Bussey, Beatrice Kathleen (Joe) Welsh of Lovilia, twenty-one grandchildren, forty great grandchildren, and twenty-five great great grandchildren, and siblings, Jean Bloom of Knoxville, and Donald Green of Knoxville. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Albert, two sons, Ronald Joe Bregar, Dennis James Bregar, and nine siblings, Everett Green, Dorothy Agan, Hazel Burk, Kenneth Green, Violet Selby, Betty Johnson, Junior Green, Harold Green, and Mildred Stangl. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Sinnott Funeral Home, Gilbert Chapel in Lovilia with Vince Goemaat officiating. Burial will follow services in Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday March 11, 2016, opening to the public at 1:00 pm and family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday evening at Sinnott Funeral Home, Gilbert Chapel in Lovilia.
