Obituary for Victor William Robinson

Victor William Robinson, age 34, of Ottumwa, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. He was born on June 16, 1983 in Iowa City to Kirk Robinson and Tyann Handling. Vic was a kind and genuine man who loved the light of his life Chanel, together nearly 18 yrs. And out of this eternal love for one another came his most precious gifts, children Elijah Vaughn and Elizabeth Lynn Robinson. Victor and his family for the past few years have been enjoying each other’s company teaching Elijah how to be a handyman. His favorite activities with Elijah were to ride bikes, play legos for hours, listen to music, and build things. Victor was considered the “cool” dad with his bike tricks when coming to pick Elijah up from school. He always made “Eli” as he would call him feel more confident in everyday situations. He adored his daughter Elizabeth whom he called “baby girl” who portrays his personality perfectly. She is full hearted and fearless just like him! His favorite times spent with her were playing guitar, teaching her how to play video games, and listening to music together. Victor was a true friend to everyone, a very good judge of character and knew how to read people well. He was over protective in the best of ways and never held back his emotions.
