Rick and I met in high school as we played football together. We boxed one time which was a painful memory for me.
Lost touch through the years then reconnected on Facebook.
I was back in Ottumwa in October and Rick and got together for breakfast. Had a great visit.
So glad we got to spend that time together.
My most sincere condolences to the family.

Karen and girls, so sorry to hear of your loss. Rick was such a great guy. Due to the weather we will probably not be able to make it to Ottumwa. Getting too old to take chances. Just know that we are thinking of you all. Just lost our Jack last night. Not a good week for many of us. Take care, hugs to all! Sincerely, Carolyn and Bud Streeby.
