Its funny Kelly and her family lived a block behind us when I was growing up as a kid and I don't ever remember seeing her. We got to know each other later in life as adults. She was a good friend to me and offered comfort to me through tough times. She could be wild and outrageous, hilariously crazy, but she was also sincere, loving, and kind person. I miss you Kelly fly with the angels.

I will never forget all the good times Kelly and I had growing up together. Walking to elementary and junior high together, the many sleepovers, how excited she was to be the 1st one to get her license and drive us to high school , going to concerts, the lake and just hanging out. My fondest memory was both of us being back in Ottumwa and having kids at the same time. Kelly was one of the first people to visit me and hold my baby boy. I will always cherish that moment. My heart goes out to Bob, Connie, her sisters and lovely children. Rest in peace my friend. Brenda Eklofe

I will always hold Kelly in my heart as one of my best childhood friends. We spent long hours playing many games of ball, golf, red light green light and so many other childhood games. We snitched grapes from the neighbors, watched scary movies, made dolls from beads, and talked long into the night during sleepovers. Sending lots of love to Bob, Connie, Kris, Julie and Jennie. Also, her children as they cope with the loss of their sweet Momma. May she rest in peace. Kim Thomas Workman
