I always respected Chuck when he was a standout basketball player at Medford High School. My wife and her girlfriend were staying at the same rooming house in Wausau where Patty Shannon was staying while attending schooling. We would run into Chuck and Patty and always were cordial to each other.

To the Chuck Nolan family:
As you all know your dad was a very good friend of mine. We spent so many hours out in the woods hunting, enjoying the beauty of nature and enjoying each others company. I am so saddened to hear of his passing but feel it is selfish on my part to wish him anything other that being with his heavenly father and with his loving Patty.
I know you are all grieving but you all know Chuck is home.
