Nita Nedderman Obituary (1930 - 2014)

Obituary for Nita Nedderman Nita Dalene Nedderman, age 84 of Albia, died on Friday evening September 5, 2014 at her residence in Albia under the care of Care Initiatives Hospice. She was born on January 25, 1930 in Albia to Dale and Jessie (Samuel) Remy. Nita graduated Albia High School, class of 1947. She married Edward William Nedderman on February 8, 1948 in Albia. They were blessed with two children, Cheryl and Rebecca. Edward died on December 14, 2001. She worked various Jobs, including being a Nurses Aid, and worked in retail. She enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and especially enjoyed visits from her great nieces and nephews. Survivors include her children, Cheryl (Tony) Overturf of Ottumwa, Rebecca Nedderman of St. Louis, MO, granddaughter, Sarah Overturf of Iowa City, brother, Dean (Virginia) Remy of Albia, brother-in-law Bill Sinclair of Albia, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Dale Remy, and two sisters, Irma Emanuel, and Doris Sinclair. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the Oak View Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 opening to the public at 2:00 pm, and family will be present from 6-8 pm Tuesday evening at the Sinnott Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Albia.
